whether it's Wii on top, PS3 beating out 360 or the PSP breathing life, if it's according to these guys, NO ONE should be bragging or sourcing such information.
Bottomline, this is just a wannabe analyst site and really shouldn't be consider news but rather rumors as projections. It's all about NPD folks, that's all that matters...though even they're out of sync sometimes with Hardware developer numbers (ala PS3 sales announced at E3).
It is universally known that Kotaku is THE source for XBOX360 fanboyism on the internet. That said, man did they RIP Too Human a new one a couple weeks ago. Just shows you how truly BAD that game is.
As for understating every major announcement for the PS3, come on, ALL media has thx to the FFXIII announcement. But who wins once the exclusives, not the MPs hit. I think we all know the answer to that one, no matter how much sources like Kotaku don't like it.

You should all come to the realization that its FF vs XIII gameplay footage. Its the only thing that can't directly and permanently make a positive impact on PS3 because it can still be ported to 360.

PS3 owners and FANS that they were maxing out the PS3 and that to play FFXIII you would need to buy a PS3 console. They lied and now smile about going multi in the regions where the console war effect won't be felt quite as hard as Japan. They made a bad move and probably pissed off Sony to boot. Now their game won't be as technically advanced as it COULD have been if it stayed PS3 exclusive ala MGS4 not technically possible on 360 freaking amazing!!!!

The hardcore RPG crowd (not the casuals) should be more interested in just what the heck is going on w/ White Knight Chronicles. Especially after seeing that gameplay footage last TGS.

2008 looks to be the year of good-but-not-great titles that they see as quick profits.
I'm starting to really dislike Square and I've been playing FF since Gold Cartridge NES days. Not impressed guys. I'm actually cheering on Level 5's WKC to own FFXIII. It may just do it judging by gameplay vids too.
Once again the respectable sites like IGN, Gamespot (well, sorta), Gamepro, 1up etc. will praise it and the little XBOX hommies with their blog sites will give it the 6/10 treatment. W/e, too bad metacritic always counts those little blogs as quick as possible, unless they're bashing NGII's camera, then they don't exist, lol.
But you're pathetic rep and lack of a respectable track-record does not trump IGN's preview of this game which basically said GOTY2009 contender. Sites like these are just looking for hits.
